“Expect to encounter the park’s four-legged residents along the route — giraffes are particularly sociable and often accompany runners for as much as a half mile.”

“One of the top ten races to run in your life.”

– Runner’s World

Run for a Reason

Across Africa, approximately 70 elephants are killed every day. Illegal poaching claims the life of one rhino every 10 hours. At this rate, these iconic species will be gone from the wild within your lifetime.

Join the 1,400 runners who take part in the marathon every year.  Your part in this event will raise critical funds for conservation, community development and education programs that are providing hope for the future of Africa’s wildlife.

Together we can make a difference.
