The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is located in northern Kenya— a four-hour drive or 45-minute flight from Nairobi.

 There are three options to for runners and spectators wishing to stay on the conservancy over the marathon weekend.  

Maridadi

Safaricom Marathon’s own Maridadi Camp is our most popular place to stay leading up to race day!

Maridadi Camp

A luxury tented camp set up, especially for marathon runners and spectators. Maridadi’s traditional, comfortable set-up features large walk-in tents, with a veranda and hot ‘bush’ shower.

Meals consist of a full English breakfast, buffet lunch and dinner.  The Pasta / Nyama Choma Party is inclusive for all those staying in the village. A selection of drinks is available at the cash bar.

Safaricom Village

The Safaricom Village consists of Igloo or similar type tents equipped with twin camp beds, bedding. Spotlights are placed to illuminate the paths leading to the tents.

The food includes full breakfast, varied buffet lunches and three-course meals in the evening.  The Pasta / Nyama Choma Party is inclusive for all those staying in the village. A wide selection of drinks is available at the cash bar.

Rates and Details

Self-catering Camp

No fuss, no frills, just wild adventure! Each campsite is equipped with water points, cold showers, firewood and long drop loos. Runners and specators wishing to use the campsite are required to bring all camping equipment and food for the duration of their stay. The Campsite is open from Friday 24th June to Sunday 26th June

The charges are Ksh. 3,500 per adult per night, Ksh. 1,750 per child per night.
